How many miles did you fly last year? What about different airlines? Total number of hours spent in the air? If you can’t answer any of these questions, listen up because there’s a slew of ways to easily track all these fun travel statistics with only a few clicks of the mouse.
Right now is the ideal time to begin logging your flights for this fresh year so that, come December, you’ll have all sorts of fun stats to share at holiday parties and on social networks. “I flew 70,000 miles and visited 32 different airports in 9 countries this year” sure beats, “Yeah, I traveled a lot.” 🙂
Sign up for a free account and you will get a personal page with a map of all the places you have been to, and detailed flight statistics with graphs – FlightDiary.net 😉
Add flights
Keep track of where you have been and how you got there by adding your flights to your Flightdiary.net account.
It is up to you if you want to add all the flight details (airline, aircraft, date, time, etc.) or not, but if you do, the statistics shown on your profile will be more relevant and precise.
Profile
Get a personal profile with a map and detailed statistics about your flights with graphs on CO2 emissions, top airports, airlines, etc.
Your profile can either be easily linked to, or set as private – it is your choice.
Share your opinion
Let other users know what you thought about your flight by rating and commenting.
The ratings that are given are used to calculate an average for each airport, airline, and aircraft in our database, which together with the comments and Wikipedia information put together our database pages.
Flying is social
Let your friends know when and where you have flown.
When you add a flight, you can choose whether to post a message to your Facebook wall. If it is a future flight, we can even post your message automatically when you are in the air with a direct link to it on Flightradar24.com, so your friends can follow you live.
I also use FlightDiary for some years, but I still could not find a way how to get in touch with their support :((( I’ve sent them dozens of emails through the contact form, but all without any reply…
Since you are travelling lot, it is pretty possible that you fly to the airports, which are not listed on the FlightDiary.net: how do you deal with such a problem, if you have these situations? Do you submit the missed data directly to their support team (but how??), or do you just skip those flights and forget them? :((
Could you please suggest how to be in this situation with their database? Maybe you know, how to communicate them and let them update the data?
You should also definitely have a look at Log my flight, new website similar to Flightdiary but which offers unique features such as more detailed statistics, and achievements to unlock by flying. Have a look now! http://www.logmyflight.net
